We can’t assume that the floods in July 2007/8 were a “one off”.
Prompt commonsense actions (getting sandbags where they are needed, marking flooded or closed roads clearly) can prevent damage to property and some of the more immediate inconvenience of flooding.
New refuse collection days:
From 1st June it's Tuesday instead of Wednesday with recycling box collection fortnightly from 8th June.
